Matcha Cooking Powder (Green Tea Cooking Powder)

Mount Fuji produces many types of tea and that includes Green Tea Powder. There are many ways to produce the powder and the highest quality is called Matcha, Cooking Matcha & Sprinkles which are made from high quality sencha tea, the same as our good quality tea’s. General cooking powder is made from lower quality and it reflects in cooking.

To make the best with cooking you should use some cooking Matcha and add some sprinkles to give the apperance a real green tea look.


Cooking Matcha Powder

Use this by the teaspoon, the cooking Matcha is much better to cook with than regular Matcha as it is not as strong, as you can quickly ruin your cooking with regular Matcha, it is very bitter and best avoided, use regular Matcha for the tea ceremony which it is meant for.

Matcha Cooking Sprinkles

Use these by the tablespoon, this will enhance your cooking, the sprinkles are made from very finely chopped high quality sencha leaves, you can use them to make tea also. For biscuits, bread, & ice cream it really is very good and highly recommended. For bread use 2 to 3 tablespoons of sprinkles and one teaspoon of cooking matcha.
